Six Students from Shanghai French School Exhibit their Work in Shanghai’s Renowned Art Museum

This summer, Shanghai French School had the honor of showcasing six student artworks at the Liu Haisu Art Museum in Shanghai. A proud moment for our young artists, whose creations were seen by thousands of visitors throughout July.

The exhibition “Masters of Tomorrow – International Youth Art Salon 2025” opened in July at the Liu Haisu Museum, bringing together outstanding works from young talents around the world. Curated by Luo Yier, the event recognized Shanghai French School with the prestigious “Organizational Excellence Award”, a distinction rarely given to schools.

At the opening ceremony, our students’ works were highlighted in a dedicated section:

  • My Classmate Alex – Rowan Saby (Grade 9 / Acrylic)
  • My Classmate Elisa – Estelle-Louis Chalopin (Grade 9 / Acrylic)
  • Whisper of a Crime – Minh Tâm Gindrey-Le (Grade 11 / Watercolor)
  • Aquatic Reverie – Estelle-Louise Chalopin (Grade 9 / Acrylic)
  • The Illuminated Tree – Valentin Janicot (Grade 11 / Ballpoint Pen)
  • Garden Phoenix – Aeryn Leigh (Grade 11 / Acrylic)

Highlights from the Opening

 

  • Head of School Remarks: M. Fouillard stressed the vital role of arts education, describing our students as “cultural ambassadors building bridges between China and the world.”
  • Live Performance: Student Aeryn Leigh impressed the audience with an excerpt from the opera Super Hero · Miss Menace.
  • Award Presentation: The school proudly received the Organizational Excellence Award.
