The School Development Plan translates into concrete educational priorities the vision set out by the members of the LFS Board of Directors. Its aim is to nurture knowledgeable, innovative, responsible and engaged students who are equipped to thrive in a complex and constantly changing world.

Pillar 1 — Arts, Cultures and Heritage
Building a cultural identity that is open to the world
- Make use of local and international artistic resources.
- Promote cultural and linguistic diversity through the arts.
- Encourage intergenerational and intercultural exchange.
- Help students understand the distinctive features of French and Chinese cultures.
- Structure and enhance the Artistic and Cultural Education Pathway (PEAC).
Pillar 2 — Developing the Use of Technology
Preparing students for the technologies of tomorrow
- Build a new digital working infrastructure.
- Implement a unified digital environment.
- Teach students to use digital technologies and artificial intelligence responsibly and thoughtfully.
- Involve families in digital education.
- Develop innovative projects, including a pedagogical innovation lab and artificial intelligence initiatives.

Pillar 3 — Educating and Preparing Citizens for the Challenges of the 21st Century
Developing responsible and engaged citizens

- Develop an LFS Teacher Guide to support the induction of new staff.
- Strengthen international, intercultural and cross-professional perspectives.

- Strengthen expertise in inclusion and specific educational needs.
- Encourage collaboration, resource sharing and peer learning.
- Develop opportunities for self-directed professional learning.

Implementation and Evaluation
The School Development Plan will be monitored through:
- Indicators defined for each objective.
- An annual review presented to the relevant governing bodies.
- Regular communication with the school community.
- Ongoing evaluation to enable the school to adjust and refine the actions being implemented.
