Shanghai French School organised its running competition on Wednesday, April 14 and Thursday, April 15. Our students from Primary and Secondary schools rose to the challenge on both campuses after several weeks of training !   

In Yangpu, the cross firstly brought together students from Primary school and their teachers, who ran along an itinerary marked out on the campus. The competition ended with the medal ceremony and a friendly picnic.

The next day, students from Secondary school ran for a common cause and challenged themselves by running a maximum of 500-meter laps within a 50-min limit. The objective was to collect funds for the ”Make a Wish” association, and make the dream of a child suffering from a serious disease come true.

Parents, families, and sponsors were able to directly donate to the association.

In Qingpu, Primary and Secondary students also surpassed themselves on Thursday, April 15 for the 10th Franco-German cross organised by the sports teachers of Shanghai French and German Schools. What a beautiful moment of conviviality between our two schools!
