Benoît Debuyser is the father of two children, aged 16 and 11 respectively, both enrolled at the LFS Yangpu campus. He is also part of a Sino-French bicultural family. Starting next school year, his daughter will continue her studies at the Yangpu middle school, while his son will join the Première class (11th grade) at Qingpu. He currently holds the position of Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for the Asia sourcing offices of a major French retail group. With over 19 years of expatriate experience—17 of which have been in China since 2001 and 2 in Italy—Benoît has a deep understanding of international and multicultural environments.
Having himself studied for ten years in Germany, he is particularly attentive to the expectations families have for their children, balancing academic rigor, open-mindedness, and adaptability. It is in this spirit that he wishes to be actively involved in the life of the school, and he enthusiastically joins both the Pedagogy Committee and the Operations Committee.
