Primary students from Qingpu and Yangpu campuses joined in to celebrate the Week of Tastes from October 18 to 22!
Celebrating cultural diversity through recipes from around the world, discovering new flavours, understanding the concepts of fermentation and cooking, students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 learnt many instructive and taste lessons!
On last week’s menu, we found Chinese ravioli, cookies, pop tarts, samosas, banoffee and more. We even sneaked in to take a few pictures and try some ! Primary teachers accompanied students in the preparation and cooking of these various recipes, highlighting teamwork, attention to detail and quantities, and the pleasure to exchange in French, English and Chinese around food.
Thanks to the teachers’ enthusiasm and children’s motivation, everyone did brilliantly during this successful Week of Tastes!
