We welcomed the Association of Le Souvenir Français (French Remembrance) to our Yangpu campus today, for the symbolic display of the flag which belongs to the Association of the Orphans of the War in Ain.
We had gathered at the French Residence with students a few months ago to receive the flag and promised to cherish the work around remembrance, to never forget what happened, and to honour those who died during the War.
On this special occasion, Frédéric Kinder and Borris, the author and drawer of the fiction “Albert Londres doit disparaître” donated an edition of their book to our Yangpu library. We thank them warmly for the gesture, and we thank David Maurizot, ambassador of the Association of Le Souvenir Français in China for his visit and continuous support.
