The 2022 edition of the French “Beaver Contest” (Concours Castor) registered 698 449 participants within 3874 French schools around the world. The LFS students proved once more what they were made of!
Open to students from Grade 4 to Grade 12 and covering different aspects of computer science, the contest includes algorithmic thinking, applications use, data structuring and games of logic. Targeting the digital world, these notions enable students to discover maths in a fun way, and to choose SNT (Digital Science and Technology) in Grade 9, which focuses on the use of Python language, and the NSI (Digital and Computer Science) specialty in Grades 11 and 12 if they wish to.
With the great support of their mathematics and technology teachers, students received their certificate on both Qingpu and Yangpu campuses. Well done to all the participants and to the students who obtained very good scores, especially in the Grades 6, 7 and 9 categories!
