LFS tradition: we celebrated 100 Days of School!

The 100th day of school holds a special place in our academic calendar, offering a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students’ achievements while having a blast! This tradition, originating from the United States, has spread its joy to schools all over the globe, including Shanghai French School! So, how did we mark this occasion at LFS?

Our first-grade students engaged in a range of entertaining and educational workshops centered around the number 100 with their teachers: from 100-second memory games or alphabetizing objects in record time to drawing 100 small animals and even taking on small sports challenges in 100 seconds!

Following this, we orchestrated an epic flashmob in our central piazza. And of course, to the immense delight of our students, we hung piñatas! Breaking them open was undoubtedly the highlight of their day, filled with small gifts for them.

By commemorating the 100th day of school, we’re not just celebrating our journey so far; we’re revving up for an unforgettable series of events ahead in March and April! Get ready for some serious fun!
